Men Of Character

MISSION:

Is a men’s ministry dedicated to reaching and leading men to Christ and disciple them toward maturity, developing spiritually that they may imitate the master’s character at all times and in every environment.

 

OBJECTIVE:

The goal of our ministry to assist men become men of God through the study of God’s Word, prayer meetings, group studies, and fellowship with one another.  To create and environment where we, as men can be open with God and with one another.  To come together and confront real manly issues and address them with biblical answers.

R- RESPONSIBLE

As Godly men we must take responsibility for our own actions and not seek to blame others for our mistakes.  We must also, as men of God, assume responsibility to lead our families, friends and our sphere of influence by exemplifying the character of Christ by example.

 

E- EFFECTIVE

As Godly men we must allow the power of Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit to make us and mold us so that we could be effective in our families, church and our community.

 

A-ACCOUNTABLE

As Godly men we must understand that accountability is a safeguard.  We must be first accountable to God in accordance to Romans 14:12.  Secondly, to our Pastors in accordance to Hebrews 13:17 for they watch over your souls.  Finally to each other as brothers in accordance to I Peter 5:5 and Ephesians 5:21.

 

C-COMMITTED

As Godly men we must commit ourselves wholly onto God and His mission.  As a result we must be godly men committed to our families, the church and our community.

 

H-HONORING

As Godly men we live a lifestyle that glorifies and honors God, honors marriage, family and one another. I Peter 2:17; I Peter 3:7; Ephesians 6:2; Romans 12:10

 

Men of Character is a ministry for men ages 20 and over dedicated to developing males into men of God.
